More Disney Day 2

Here are some more pictures on day 2. There is a video clip of her on the merry-go-round in California Adventure. She really put on a show for Dad every time we came around to see him. Then she loved the tea cups. We couldn't go too fast because she would start to slide all over the place. Then the water park, her happy place.

Disneyland Day 2

Day 2 was just as much fun as day 1, maybe more fun, more packed. We did the water park again, and of course the merry-go-'round. We also did Toy Story. When Angela figured out it was better to keep the 3-D glasses on she liked the ride more (it's blurry without the glasses). She was so exhausted that when she finally took her nap - it was for 3 hours, in her stroller!! When she woke up, she was ready to go again.

Disneyland Day 1

We had such a good time at Disneyland. Angela had so much fun with her cousins and all the new things to explore. We cold hardly keep her off the Merry-go-round. She absolutely loved it. We'd get off, and she'd find a way to let us know it was time to get back on - it was good there wasn't a line. California Adventure has a great water park. With the days in the 80's we let her run and get all wet. We spent a good hour there and she didn't want to leave. We tried on sun glasses, but they were too big, and played in line.

Driving to Disneyland

Angela is the best traveler. All week we had been telling her of the long car ride and that she would have to be in her car seat for a very long time. When she got in her car seat she immediately perked up and started chattering and laughing. She did this for about an hour until she fell back asleep. She woke up when we stopped in St. George for gas. We changed her out of her pajamas into clothes. She got to wear her squeaky shoes and everyone loved them as she would walk around and play at the gas station. Then back into the car and she just kicked back and chilled. She read books, played with beads, and toys and looked at everything out the window. Then of course, we had some of her music to play.. "if you're happy...", "old MacDonald", "Little Bunny Foo Foo"... and the list goes on - but she loved it and bounced and danced to the music.

just chillin'

Disney Trip - Packing

We had a great time in California this past week. Angela loved helping us get ready... I think we had to pack about 3 times because she would take the clothes in and out of the suitcases. She knew something exciting was happening because all our clothes were going in travel bags, and we were excited.... I'm too excited to sleep.

Ready for the cold

Angela loves to be outside, so it is a good thing that she loves hats, gloves and scarves. She loves to play with the hats, get them on her head, and the gloves on her hands. The funny thing is that they are all too big - her own don't quite appeal to her as much. When we have to shovel snow we deck her out in snow pants, hats, and gloves so she can play around in the snow and has a great time. Believe it or not, she cries when it is time to go inside.

Holiday Time

Christmas is a bit different when there are children in the house, and ours was no exception. Angela added a new dimension to the morning and day's events. We had fun watching her open her gifts and play with her toys. Luckily she wasn't spoiled too bad.
